Welcome to Payday Coach (“the App”), operated by IntelliRise Solutions LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a Louisiana limited liability company. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have regarding your data. By using Payday Coach, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
- Account information: First name, email address, and password when you create an account
- Financial information you enter manually: Paycheck amounts, pay frequency, next payday date, bill names and amounts, savings goals, and debt balances
- Coach preferences: Your selected coach personality (Best Friend, Sassy & Direct, or Professional)
- Conversations: Messages you send to the AI coach
Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: Device type, operating system, app version
- Usage data: Features used, screens visited, session duration
- App performance data: Crash reports and error logs
Information From Third-Party Services
Plaid (Pro users only)
If you connect your bank account, we use Plaid Technologies, Inc. to access your financial data. Through Plaid, we may receive:
- Checking and savings account balances
- Transaction history
- Account ownership information
We do not receive or store your bank login credentials. Plaid handles authentication directly with your financial institution. Plaid’s Privacy Policy is available at https://plaid.com/legal/privacy-notice.
Google and Apple Sign-In
If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and name from those providers. We do not receive your passwords.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your Payday Coach account
- Calculate your Safe To Spend balance
- Provide personalized AI coaching responses
- Populate your spending, schedule, and goals screens
- Send you app notifications about upcoming bills or payday reminders (with your permission)
- Improve the App’s features and performance
- Respond to your support requests
- Process your subscription payments through Apple’s App Store
- Comply with legal obligations
4. How Your Information Is Shared
OpenAI
Your AI coach conversations and financial context (Safe To Spend balance, upcoming bills, payday information, savings goals, and debt balances) are processed by OpenAI, L.L.C. to generate coaching responses. OpenAI processes this data according to their Privacy Policy at https://openai.com/privacy. We do not share your name, email address, or account credentials with OpenAI.
Plaid
If you connect your bank account, your data is processed by Plaid as described in Section 2 above.
Apple App Store / RevenueCat
Subscription purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. Neither Apple nor RevenueCat receives your financial coaching data.
Supabase
We use Supabase, Inc. to store your account data and financial information securely. All data stored in Supabase is encrypted at rest and protected by Row Level Security, meaning only you can access your own data.
We Do Not Sell Your Data
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or financial data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests from public authorities.
5. Data Security
We take the security of your data seriously. We implement the following measures to protect your information:
- Encryption at rest: All data stored in our database is encrypted
- Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between the App and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Row Level Security: Database policies ensure each user can only access their own data
- Plaid security: We never store your bank login credentials — Plaid handles all bank authentication using bank-level security
- Biometric authentication: The App supports Face ID and Touch ID for secure access
While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information and financial data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: You can view your information within the App at any time
- Correction: You can update your information in the App’s Settings
- Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data through Settings → Delete My Account. We will process your request within 30 days.
- Data portability: You may request a copy of your data by contacting us at info@intellirisesolutions.com
- Opt out of notifications: You can disable push notifications in your device Settings at any time
- Disconnect bank: You can disconnect your bank account at any time through Settings → Linked Accounts

8. Children’s Privacy
Payday Coach is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
9. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. 10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy reflects when it was last revised. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
