1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and IntelliRise Solutions LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a Louisiana limited liability company, governing your use of the Payday Coach mobile application (“the App”).
By downloading, installing, or using Payday Coach, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Have read and agree to these Terms
- Have read and agree to our Privacy Policy at paydaycoach.com/privacy
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service
Payday Coach is an AI-powered personal financial coaching application designed to help users manage their finances between paychecks. The App provides:
- A conversational AI coach to answer financial questions
- A Safe To Spend calculation based on your income and upcoming bills
- Spending tracking and categorization
- Bill and payment scheduling
- Savings and debt goal tracking
- Optional bank account connectivity through Plaid (Pro users)
Important: Payday Coach is a financial coaching and organizational tool. It is NOT a licensed financial advisor, bank, credit union, investment advisor, or financial institution. The information and guidance provided by the App is for general informational and organizational purposes only and should not be considered professional financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Always consult a qualified financial professional before making significant financial decisions.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Payday Coach. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users found to be under 18.
4. Account Registration
To use Payday Coach, you must create an account using:
- Email address and password, or
- Sign in with Google, or
- Sign in with Apple
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account at info@intellirisesolutions.com
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscription Plans and Billing
Free Plan
Payday Coach offers a free tier with limited features including up to 5 AI coach messages per day and manual data entry.
Payday Coach Pro
Pro features are available through a paid subscription:
- Monthly: $7.99 per month
- Annual: $59.99 per year
Pro subscriptions include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged.
Billing
All payments are processed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple’s payment terms. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days notice of any price changes through the App or by email.
6. Bank Account Connectivity (Plaid)
Pro users may connect their bank accounts through Plaid Technologies, Inc. By connecting your bank account, you:
- Authorize us to access your account balance and transaction data through Plaid
- Acknowledge that Plaid’s Terms of Service (https://plaid.com/legal) and Privacy Policy apply to Plaid’s handling of your data
- Understand that we do not store your bank login credentials
- Acknowledge that bank data is used solely to provide the App’s features and is never sold to third parties
You may disconnect your bank account at any time through Settings → Linked Accounts.
7. AI Coach Disclaimer
The AI coach feature in Payday Coach is powered by OpenAI’s technology. By using the AI coach, you acknowledge:
- AI responses are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or not applicable to your specific situation
- The AI coach does not have access to all aspects of your financial situation
- AI coaching responses do not constitute professional financial, legal, tax, or investment advice
- You should verify important financial information independently and consult qualified professionals for significant financial decisions
- We are not liable for any financial decisions you make based on AI coach responses
8. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Payday Coach only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
- Use the App to transmit any harmful, offensive, or fraudulent content
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the App’s source code
- Use automated tools to access or scrape the App
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Use the App if you are under 18 years of age
9. Intellectual Property
The App and all of its content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to the Payday Coach name, logo, coach avatar, design, text, graphics, and software — are owned by IntelliRise Solutions LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our express written permission.
10. Privacy
Your use of Payday Coach is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at paydaycoach.com/privacy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Third-Party Services
Payday Coach integrates with third-party services including Plaid, OpenAI, Apple, Google, Supabase, and RevenueCat. Your use of these services within the App is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services.
12. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE
- DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED
- THE APP IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS
- THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM USING THE APP WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INTELLIRISE SOLUTIONS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP
- ANY FINANCIAL DECISIONS MADE BASED ON APP CONTENT OR AI COACH RESPONSES
- UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR DATA
- ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE APP
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IntelliRise Solutions LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
15. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Delete My Account. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Louisiana.
17. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and IntelliRise Solutions LLC regarding your use of Payday Coach and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
